LeanAtom

Terms

These terms cover two things. Part One is about using this website. Part Two is about the website service we sell. If you are a client, both parts apply to you.

We are LeanAtom. You can reach us at hello@leanatom.com.

Part One: Using this website

Agreement

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Your use

You may browse this site and fill out our form to contact us. Please don't:

  • Run bots or scrapers against the site
  • Try to break, overload, or gain access to anything you shouldn't
  • Copy or reuse our content without asking first

Our content

The text, design, and code on this site belong to LeanAtom. Please don't copy, sell, or reuse it without written permission.

No guarantees on the site itself

This website is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and online. We don't promise uptime or that every detail is current.

Part Two: The website service

What we provide

We build, host, and maintain a website for your business. A standard build includes:

  • An instant auto-reply to every lead who fills out your form, day or night
  • A site built for you, up to three pages
  • Google Business Profile setup
  • Hosting, SSL, and backups
  • Help picking and connecting your domain

Price and billing

The service is $399 per year, paid in full up front. This is a founding price for our first five clients. The standard price is $499.

Your year starts the day your payment clears. There is no setup fee.

Before you pay, we'll show you examples of our work and give you a straight answer on what your site would involve. Nothing is owed until you decide to go ahead.

Timeline

Most sites go live within two weeks of payment. It depends partly on how quickly you get back to us with content and answers. We will not take longer than 30 days.

During the initial build you get two rounds of revisions.

Changes after launch

You get one change per month, twelve per year. Changes don't roll over. An unused month doesn't give you two the next month.

A change means updating something already on your site. Text, photos, prices, hours, staff. Most changes go live the same day. Two business days at the outside.

Small fixes are always free and never count against your twelve. A typo, a phone number, an address, a broken link.

After twelve changes in a year, extra changes are $50 each.

Our business hours are Monday through Friday. Same-day turnaround applies to requests received during those hours.

What counts as new work

A brand new feature is not a change. We will always give you a price and a timeline before starting, so you are never surprised by a bill.

These are outside the standard service:

  • A new page or a new section added to your site
  • Online stores and payment processing
  • Booking or scheduling systems
  • Member logins or customer accounts
  • Custom applications or database work
  • Writing your content from scratch, or photography
  • Paid advertising, SEO campaigns, or social media management

We may be able to help with some of these. They would be quoted separately.

Your domain

You buy your own domain, usually about $15 a year. We will help you pick one and connect it. It stays registered in your name. We never hold it.

What you own

You own your domain. You own your content: your text, your photos, your logo, your business information. If you leave, you take all of it with you.

We own the underlying code, templates, and systems we use to build and host sites. Cancelling the service does not transfer that code to you.

Refunds

Payment is due in full before we start, and there are no refunds. We'll show you our work and answer your questions before you commit, so you know what you're buying.

Renewal

The service renews for another year unless you cancel. We will email you at least 30 days before the renewal charge, so you always have notice and a chance to cancel.

If the price is going to change at your renewal, that notice will tell you the new amount. We will never change the price of a year you have already paid for.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time by emailing us. Your site stays online through the end of the year you already paid for. There are no partial refunds.

At the end of that year, we take the site down and stop billing you. Your domain and your content remain yours.

If you cancel and later come back, the founding price may no longer be available.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, we will email you and try again. You have 14 days to sort it out. After that we pause the site until payment clears. We don't delete anything during a pause.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us: your prices, your hours, your claims about your business, and your right to use any photos or logos you send. We publish what you provide.

Please don't ask us to publish anything illegal, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may decline work or end the service if you do.

Ending the service on our side

We may end the service if you break these terms or if payment stays unresolved. If we end it for any other reason, we credit the unused portion of your year.

What we don't promise

We build sites designed to bring you leads. We can't promise a specific number of leads, customers, revenue, or search rankings. Those depend on your market, your pricing, your response time, and many things outside our control.

Both parts

Limits on liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms follow the laws of the United States.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below will change when we do. If you are an active client and we make a change that affects your service, we will email you about it. Changes never apply retroactively to a year you have already paid for.
